In an effort to further align and automate UMDashboards user security with campus best practices, the Dashboards & Analytics team are pleased to announce the following upcoming enhancements that will impact both new and existing users:

1. New Users Auto-created: Upon navigating to UMDashboards, new users will automatically be created and assigned access to UMDashboards.  As is currently the case, users must have a directory id and password to access the dashboard.  User security on restricted dashboards will be assigned automatically, where applicable, as follows:
2. Mirrored KFS Web User Security: Financial and account restricted Research Dashboards will mirror KFS Web user security.  Users will continue to be able to access all applicable units as well as individual, exception-level accounts.
